RISK

Risk: perception, communication, and behavior

Lecture (jointly with Jörg Rieskamp) about the concept of risk in cognitive psychology, measures of human risk taking, theories and findings about how humans perceive the magnitude of risks,  why they misperceive them sometimes, how people understand formats like percentages or conditional probability, how to improve communication about risks, and theories explaining individual differences in risk attitudes and behavior.

Winter Term 2016, University Basel, co-taught with Jörg Rieskamp.
